Diary: -15 Days
Time is dwindling down before getting on this pony. I am on schedule as I planned. At this point I read so much material its overwhelming on a good note. I recently begun to do research on acclimating to cold water and cold temperature conditions and am working with a master diver on getting set up with the right books and training materials to be successful with that. I plan on posting the exact gear I have on intend on using during the event and want to ask for your help Eric and JC on being brutally honest on if the gear I am going with will be sufficient. My plan is that once I locked this in then what I have is the exact gear I will train with including my wet work at the pool and lakes. I also am going to look at getting a lot of the recommended supplements that you listed Amber. The last thing I guess I wanted to document is that I found the Captain of my first sub. I plan on bringing him into my story because he was there at the beginning and was the one who had endorsed the start of my career. I'm going to ask him to be there in the end. He is a retired O6, including command at sea, and seasoned tactician. Brilliant man and now retired as a professor at the college in Kingsland Ga. Ok that's enough for now. -Strike out (Next time, I'll explain how I got the name Strike)
