Diary: Day 13
I focused heavy on shoulders today for my upper body work for strength and flexibility. Ab workout was good and strong. I saved the run for last but around .5 miles into the run I caught a leg cramp on my left calf and then shortly after I willed that away persevering on I caught another on my right calf so I reduce my speed -2 mph and focused heavy on finishing. I realized that when I hit resistance today in motivation and physics limitations mentally even thought I knew I wanted so bad to take the easy road my instinct and brain wanted to fight harder to stay in. I felt like I was on auto pilot to grind it out and I took a back seat to an alter personality that only cared about completing the mission. So I finished everything I planned to accomplish today. I gradually increased speed again until I was cruising at my steady pace. I think I said this before but I don't think I know how to not finish once I have my soul fixated on a mission. I would like to figure out and learn from today as to why I cramped today and not any of those other days. I pushed just as hard today as before and my diet has been steady. Only difference is that I only had 2 hours of sleep since yesterday and honestly haven't had more than 4 hours all week long. Does anyone have any thoughts about this? Thanks guys. I'm calling it a success because I hit a limitation but chose to accelerate into it and finish. Have a good night.
