Still Going until I Complete my Scheduled Training Plan
I started this night with a plan. I knew going into the empty gym that I had a set training plan that I was ready to get into and slip into the zone. After about an hour of lifting heavy I started to get sharp back pains. It was about 1:30 AM and I knew I was exhausted running on 4 hours of sleep for a few days now. I knew I had options. I could call it a night and hope to get a few hours before waking up for work, I could compromise my workout so that I would finish and no one would ever know, or I could do what is right. I could make it work.
So, I did adjust my workout so that I didn't compromise the plan. I finished at the cost of it taking longer to finish. I only got 1 hour of sleep that night, but I wouldn't trade that satisfying 1 hour of sleep for the 4 I chose not to get to get the job done. I think its moments like this where I put my own integity to the test.
