Early March
I'm phasing into some gentle rucking into my strength training beginning this month. I wanted to approach it from a proper form and technique angle. Time will tell how this works for me.
After a comprehensive back workout. I decided to get on the treadmill and practice walking at 15 mph to practice my posture, and how I plant my feet when attempting to move at a steady gate. I wanted to do this under perfect conditions before laying in the variables such as weight, outside environments and physical exhaustion. I'm glad I took the time to do this because I realized that after the first half mile I started to rock to a rhythm that matched my breathing.
Not too give away my work out plan, but every now and then I wanted to give glimpses on what I am doing so my posts make sense.
If you ever wondered what Super Set is then maybe you should ask me one day.
Just about every other day I start my day with an Admin 2 min push-up and sit-up routine as a function of my morning wake up workout. My purpose with doing this is to incorporate this as a routine to my daily life so this isn't considered work.
Ok, and then there is the ruck. Im blending a few days here so you can just see but I'm rucking on average at a minimum 45lbs for short burst distances to get use to the speed and form. I am also doing this to get my lower support chain adjusted to the motion.
In this video I went out for 3 miles.
Again later in the week I went out again for another 3 miles but for speed.
